Divine Journeys: A Mission Rooted in Love, Peace, and Dignity

Divine Journeys was born from a deeply personal mission: to bring love, peace, and dignity to the end-of-life experience.

For Arleen, this mission began with profound loss. Growing up in a family affected by the BRCA-2 gene, she endured the heartbreak of losing her mother, sister, and many loved ones to breast cancer. Her father’s passing from heart disease further deepened her understanding of life’s fragility and the need for compassionate care during life’s final chapter.

As a Trauma Nurse Practitioner, Arleen witnessed the vulnerability of patients facing life and death. These experiences inspired a vision to reimagine the dying process as a sacred and meaningful journey — one filled with comfort, connection, and respect.

Together with her husband Ken, Arleen founded Divine Journeys to bring this vision to life.

Ken and Arleen’s Vision

Our vision materializes in Divine Journeys, where our steadfast commitment to your personal journey takes root. We believe that dying is not a medical event, but rather a human and communal one. Death is part of our journey, and dying is a journey into the unknown.

Our mission is to ensure that no one walks their final path alone by offering access to personalized experiential therapies that honor each individual’s unique story with love, acceptance, and unwavering support without regard to their ability to pay.

In the year 2023, our journey intersected with that of our long-time friends, the Deveraux family, who shared a similar passion for enhancing end-of-life care. With the generous support of the Deveraux Foundation, Divine Journeys came into existence.
