Embracing Your Journey with Compassion and Care
At Divine Journeys, we understand how overwhelming it can be to face serious illness, end-of-life transitions, or deep emotional challenges. You don’t have to navigate it alone.
We’re a nonprofit organization devoted to helping individuals and families find the support they need—emotionally, physically, and spiritually. While we don’t offer treatment or provide services ourselves, we listen, we guide, and we connect. Our role is to help you explore your options, refer you to trusted providers, and offer education and resources to help you make informed choices. When financial barriers arise, we may be able to offer grant funding to help cover services that aren’t typically supported by insurance.
How Does It Work
Consultation
The intake process aims to meet you where you are, to understand your needs, goals, and preferences. Our team will work with you and your desired loved ones to create a plan that is best for you while also addressing any questions you may have. Begin your journey with us by sharing your story. It is our privilege to walk this path alongside you.
Referral
Based on your needs or goals, we will connect you with vetted, skilled and compassionate providers who offers services that you find meaningful and healing.
Educational Resources
Divine Journeys provides educational resources to help you explore supportive healing modalities—like Reiki, doula care, integrative coaching, body-based therapies, and more. Our goal is to empower you with knowledge, so you can make informed, meaningful choices on your care journey.
Grant Funds
Many supportive services during serious illness or life transitions are not covered by insurance, making cost a barrier.
With generous support from our foundation partners, we offer limited, need-based grant funding to help offset the cost of therapies and services provided by trusted practitioners in our referral network.
Our Therapeutic Options
-
Integrative Medical Support
Divine Journeys provides referrals to licensed medical professionals in our network who offer advanced, evidence-informed approaches to emotional and spiritual healing designed to support those facing serious illness, end-of-life transitions, or unresolved emotional pain. These therapies combine clinical expertise with compassionate care and are thoughtfully delivered in safe, supportive settings.
-
Presence-Based Support
Navigating the myriad emotions that arise at the end of life requires compassion and understanding. Our resources offer guidance on managing these feelings, including strategies to cope with anxiety, depression, demoralization, and fear. We emphasize the importance of acknowledging and addressing these emotions as part of the healing process.
-
Sound Bath Healing
Sound baths activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which allows for the balancing of emotions, energy release, and welcoming acceptance. Participants are guided through a meditative journey while listening to and being supported by the beautiful vibrations, energy, and frequencies of various instruments. These sounds will help you relax your breathing, reduce pain levels, sleep better, and release emotions and traumas, thereby reducing anxiety and facilitating relaxation.
-
Integration Circle
An integration circle provides a trusted and confidential environment to process, share, and discuss experiences that may have been difficult, feel incomplete, or puzzling, or to prepare for upcoming journeys. It is a place where there is no judgment, and you are afforded the space and the support needed to grow. Everyone in the circle is there because they want to be there. They are attentive, interested, and genuinely present. As a result, all ideas, expressions, experiences, and conversations are encouraged and welcomed. Oftentimes, when sharing and hearing others share, missing pieces of the puzzle come together, allowing the group as a whole to grow and heal. This is YOUR circle, where you are always welcomed!

Mandala Art Therapy
Mandala art therapy is a type of psychotherapy that uses coloring and geometric patterns to help you find balance and relieve stress. The word "mandala" comes from Sanskrit and means "circle" or "completion." Mandala art therapy can assist individuals and caregivers facing the end of life. This therapy can help you cope with pain, fear, anxiety, psychological distress, physical symptoms, and other difficult emotions.
The process of creating or coloring a mandala is therapeutic and symbolic. It's not about the final product, but about the journey of finding a creative way to express yourself. Anyone can try mandala art therapy, even if you are not an artist.

Reiki
First of all, let us begin by learning what Reiki is not. Reiki is not a religion, nor is it affiliated with any religion. Many people do consider Reiki to be a spiritual practice, and Reiki may be practiced by persons of any religion, or none at all.
Reiki (ray-kee) is a complementary healing approach in which practitioners place their hands lightly on or just above your body, with the goal of facilitating your own healing response. Reiki treats the whole person. The term "Reiki" literally means “universal life energy.” It is a Japanese healing technique based on the energy systems of the body and the principle that the therapist facilitates the quality and movement of that energy to activate the natural healing processes.
Reiki is a gentle healing technique that can help with end-of-life grief and other challenges by promoting relaxation, improving sleep, and enhancing emotional healing so that you can process and release emotions. It can help increase resilience when facing loss, relieve physical pain and other sensations associated with the transition to death, helping to create a sense of peace. It can also assist caregivers in connecting on a deeper level while providing emotional support.
Reiki is a non-judgmental, compassionate space where people can feel lighter and more able to cope. During a Reiki session, a practitioner uses a light touch to transfer energy, usually focusing on areas that the client may have shared are most in need. Since Reiki always heals, even if it does not cure the physical body, it can help you heal spiritually and emotionally to ease the pathway of transition.

Therapeutic Massage
Therapeutic massage can offer profound comfort for those living with advanced illness or nearing the end of life. With a focus on gentle, intentional touch, it helps ease muscle tension, soothe pain, calm the nervous system, and support restful sleep. More than physical relief, massage can bring a deep sense of presence, dignity, and emotional connection offering moments of peace and care when they’re needed most.

Creating Meaningful Moments
The final journey is an opportunity to instill meaning into every moment. We provide tools and support to help you and your loved ones focus on what matters most, from reflecting on personal values to creating lasting memories. Our resources encourage finding joy and purpose, even in the face of life's greatest challenges.

“Though we tremble before uncertain futures, may we meet illness, death and adversity with strength. May we dance in the face of our fears.”
